TriMark R.W. Smith was honored to have partnered with Govino and Koerner to provide the wine glasses and disposable servingware at this year’s Chefs for Farmers in Dallas, Texas.
Just completing its 5th year, this annual food and wine festival brought together 60+ talented chefs, 35+ artisans and culinary influencers to celebrate supporting local and regional farmers. Some of the featured chefs included Omar Flores (Casa Rubia / Whistle Britches), Uno Immanivong (Chino Chinatown), Emma and Travis Heim (Heim BBQ) and David Bancroft (Acre). With over 3,000 in attendance at the three-day culinary blowout, the Chefs for Farmers pay tribute to “Dallas as an emerging food city through incredible events that highlight the entire culinary ecosystem.”
The weekend was filled with numerous events including a Celebrity Cruises “Crème de la Femme Dinner” presented by Whole Foods, Street Food Night Market in the Dallas Design District and The Main Event.
Events opened with the Celebrity Cruises “Crème de la Femme Dinner” presented by Whole Foods. Two James Beard Award Winners, Chef Virginia Willis and Chef Celina Tio along with four other female chefs collaborated with several farmers to create a 6-course dinner to 200 guests. All proceeds benefited The Family Place.
On Day 2, guests experienced an outdoor street food extravaganza in the Dallas Design District where 15 participating chefs served some of the best foods. Then on Day 3, the Main Event took place at Lee Park and brought not only local chefs, artisans and farmers, but also 50+ wineries, breweries and distilleries participated in the “down home no mess, no fuss” weekend.
Our TriMark R.W. Smith Dallas Team had a great time participating at several events and made it out to the Maker’s Mark table to give it their shot as creating the bottles infamous red cap.
A big thank you to Govino and Koerner for their generous contribution!
