In 2004, owners Barb and Mark Phillips started with an immense 4,000-acre ranch, adapting the property to what visitors know today as a remarkable vacation oasis. The Lodge at Blue Sky provides occupants the ability to choose their own path, from wellness and relaxation to daring activities and the chance to connect with nature. Events include: mountaintop yoga, hiking, biking, sporting clays, fly fishing, horseback riding and even helicopter-based photography ventures. For less physical exertion, guests can enjoy a visit to the High West distillery or opt to treat their body and mind to a tranquil spa treatment.

With eight different venues on the premises serving a wide variety of hearty meals, Blue Sky partnered with TriMark R.W. Smith to outfit their foodservice operations from the back of the house to the front. Each location is focused on setting a new standard in resort dining by combining filling entrees with stunning presentation and flavor profiles.

The Executive Chef, Galen Zamarra, creates dishes based on the cultures that defined the area prior to modernization. The cuisines feature tastes from the natives, people of New Spain and the Chinese and Eastern Europeans building the transcontinental railroad.
