John C. Muller
Project Manager

Mr. Muller joined R.W. Smith & Co. in 1994 as Key Account/Project Manager and Manager of our Bid Department in the Contract Design Division. His career in the foodservice industry as designer, specifier, and consultant, encompasses 22 years of hands-on experience. His extensive knowledge has been developed through experience in all aspects of foodservice, including programming, design, planning, specifying, estimating, purchasing, project management, installation, and service.

In his capacity, Mr. Muller has directed a vast range of projects, including country clubs, restaurants, stadiums, health care, resorts, attractions, and institutional facilities.

In 1998 John managed and directed simultaneously 23 restaurants, bars, snack shops, catering kitchens, etc., at the new Edison Field renovation (formerly Anaheim Stadium) involving up to 6 crews working at the same time, 6 days a week, 16 hours per day. The project was finished on time and within budget, and received a meritorious commendation from Disney Co. and Turner Construction.

Mr. Muller’s extensive and diverse background and experience includes foodservice/interior planning and preliminary design, project management, engineering plans, millwork/stainless designs and details, equipment and furnishings specifications, and assisting in material/finish selections and job cost management.

He has an Associate Arts Degree from Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa, California, with a Certificate of Merit in Sales and Marketing Management. Active as a board member-officer director of various organizations in his community.
