Position Title:          Territory Sales Representatives

 

Reports To:             Territory Sales Managers in their assigned territories

 

Subordinates:        

 

Position Purpose: 

 

Position Responsibilities:

1.                  Sell appropriate items in large quantities at best fair margin.

2.                  Call on 10-15 key customers.

3.                  Present new ideas to customers.

4.                  Lead with proprietary items.

5.                  Qualify through asking questions.

6.                  Respond to customers’ requests for quotes, specs, info, etc.

7.                  Return pages.

8.                  Check voicemail.

9.                  Enter orders into Facts system.

10.             Research new ideas for customers, order samples.

11.             Research customer requests.

12.             Search for new opportunities.

13.             Cold call new accounts.

14.             Enter and ensure completion of CRS documents.

15.             Read daily transaction report, ensure accuracy, notify purchasing or manager of code adjustments.

16.             Communicate with infrastructure.

17.             Acquire insight from manager/mentor/sales floor.

18.             Complete 5/15s.

19.             Resolve disputes.

20.             Discuss week with manager.

21.             Report on 3 top prospects.

22.             Ride-along with manager.
