Position Title: IT Manager
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
Subordinates:
Position Purpose: To manage NT networks, PC’s and
UNIX system; Handle day-to-day computer operations and help desk functions; Work
on technology related projects; and Develops and
maintains the company's websites and Intranet and improves the company's
efficiency through the use of the design, look and feel for all websites.
Position Responsibilities:
1.
Maintains a
current and effective software library.
2.
Gathers
data and helps provide managers with useful information for managing the
business.
3.
Create and
implement processes and policies for the effective and efficient use of
resources allocated.
4.
Oversee
operational activities of all websites with specific attention aimed at content
creation, and maintenance.
5.
Produce
monthly traffic reports for all websites.
6.
Responsible
for the creation, installation and maintenance of all servers, domains, and
server security.
7.
Responsible
for new user set-up and training, server back-ups, and the daily administration
of all domains.
8.
Maintaining our NT
networks, answering user questions, setting up workstations, upgrading and
maintaining software and hardware.
9.
Providing
troubleshooting and repair for all personal computer systems and peripherals,
including all "supported" software applications.
10.
Providing network
access, both internal and external, for all users and applications within the
specifications of the network architecture.
11.
Developing training
material, policies and procedures manuals and training of users for all
computer systems hardware and software.
12.
Installing and
configuring new releases and versions of software and operating systems.
13.
Providing and
supporting Internet connectivity, both local and remote, for all computing
systems as approved.
14.
Reviewing new computing
systems and network user requests.
15.
Providing user support
in the form of a "Help Desk" for all hardware and software systems.
16.
Maintaining and
updating the company’s Internet and Intranet sites.
17.
Ongoing
execution and supervision of the technical side of the E-Business operation.
18.
Oversee
Internet projects.
