San Diego Office Goes to the Zoo
It was a sunny Southern California day on June 14th, when a group of owners toured the world-famous San Diego Zoo with twelve children from the Polinsky Center. Steve Scott and his wife, Anne, as well as Paul Trygar, Katherine Wyckoff, Deborah Leiva, Jennifer Grady, Alisa Albrecht, Heather Mordhorst, and Gina Di Crescenzo all shared the day with the kids walking around, eating lunch, and observing all the various animals. Thanks to Steve and Anne Scott, who led us throughout the park, we were able to see many of the animals including the hippos, tigers and snakes. I think I can honestly say that the joy for all of us, though, was not so much seeing the animals, but the looks of excitement on the kids’ faces. For many, it was their first time at the zoo, and it was wonderful that we were able to provide them with this opportunity!
