R.W. Smith & Co., an employee owned company since 1997, was established in San Diego in 1935 as a wholesale food service equipment and supply distributor serving San Diego County. We have since expanded into multiple states nationwide.

Sales Staff: experienced consultants who are dedicated career salespeople providing weekly face-to-face visits, new product ideas, next day delivery of stocked products and benefits designed to enhance profitability. Showroom and Customer Service Staff: our well-trained and enthusiastic consultants are available to assist your immediate and long term needs. Our goal is to treat every customer in such a memorable way that when the transaction is complete, they will come back for more AND tell someone else how great of an experience they had with our Company!
Support Staff: a professional staff of buyers, accountants, credit representatives, human resources, warehousing, and administration that works as a team to serve the needs of our customers. Our sales professionals partner with our support to consistently deliver on our customers’ needs.
Facilities Design: a step-by-step approach from conceptual stages through kitchen and space planning requirements to the realization of the prepared product served on the tabletop.
